Presentation by: Michael Mantz, M.D.
In the video below, I present the latest in neuroscience about the importance of developing your body sensing skills also known as interoceptive awareness or body wisdom.
In this presentation:
-Learn why most of us are at war with our bodies.
-Find out what the 3 most common emotions people have towards their bodies and how these emotions limit our ability to enjoy well-being in our lives.
-Understand how sensing your body gives you access to 4 million years of wisdom and how this wisdom can be used to improve: decision-making capacity, problem-solving, empathy and emotional intelligence.
This presentation was given at Cottage Hospital on October 9th, 2019. Special thanks to Cynthia Manigault for helping to coordinate this event and Michael Hess for filming and editing the video below.
I will be giving Part 2 of this presentation in April 2020 at Cottage Hospital.

more useful than ever before.
What a data of un-ambiguity and preserveness of precious
experience on the topic of unexpected emotions.
